Uganda will be in pot 2 of the Qatar World Cup 2022 Africa qualification draw.
This was confirmed on Wednesday by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as they drew the four pots for the upcoming qualifiers.
The four pots were designed according to the Coca Cola FIFA World Rankings for the month of December 2019.
Ahead of the January 21st 2020, draw, it was also confirmed that there will be 10 groups of four teams each.
The winners of each group will be drawn in the final stage where each will face another nation to determine the five that qualify for the World Cup finals in Qatar.
The Uganda Cranes is attempting to reach the World Cup for the first time in their history.
