Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

-Seychelles 0-2 Uganda

-Tanzania 5-3 Malawi

The Uganda Sand Cranes registered their first normal time victory at the Copa Dar es Salaam Beach Soccer on Wednesday as they defeated Seychelles 2-0.

Having beaten Tanzania on penalties before losing 5-4 to Burundi in the second game, Salim Jamal Muwonge’s side knew that victory was all they desired against Seychelles and luckily, they attained that target.

SC Villa attacker Emmanuel Wasswa was the hero of the day as he scored both of Uganda’s goals on the day.

The win now sees Uganda move onto four points for the competition and will target another victory in their last game.

On the same day, hosts Tanzania beat Malawi 5-3.

Uganda will now face Malawi in the final day on boxing day.

Meanwhile, Tanzania will face Burundi on the same day. Both Tanzania and Burundi are on 6 points apiece.

Final Day Fixtures:

-Uganda Vs Malawi

-Tanzania Vs Burundi
