Express Football Club have released striker Frank Kalanda.

Kalanda joined the club in 2019 and leaves after his two-year deal with the club expired last month.

He was rumoured to be on his way out after scoring just six goals in the 2020/21 season which saw him feature mostly off the bench.

The former URA FC striker who was in his second spell at Wankulukuku bagged a total of 52 goals for the Red Eagles in all competitions.

He joined Express in 2019 after he was released by Rwandese club AS Kigali.

He becomes the first player to be released by Express FC as the club reassemble their squad ahead of their big season in CAF Champions League.
