ARUA – FUFA Big League side Arua Hill is set to release several player in the current off-season.

Reports coming from Arua indicate that Alfred Leku is one of the players that will be leaving the club before the start of next season.

Leku who is most remembered for scoring the goal that kept Express FC in the top flight a couple of years ago, has been at the club for only a single season.

He joined the Leopards last yeat following an unsuccessful stint at Proline FC.

Joining Leku on the list of players that will be leaving Arua Hill are; Edema Sabir, Ajobe Samary, Yakin Rashid, Benard Sunday, Emmanuel Mutebi, Agau Rashid, Collins Onega, Simba Sabir, Aggrey Atandu, Isaac Okello, Patrick Matovu, Ronald Media Innocent and Idd Abdul Wahid.

Arua Hill was promoted to the Uganda Premier League at the end of the just completed 2020/21 season.

The Arua based side, predictably, finished top of the Big League-Elgon group to earn a direct ticket to the UPL.

They are understood to be in search of top players to ensure they stay afloat in the UPL next season.

Their hunt for quality has seen then sign striker Yusuf Saaka from Kyetume FC and Nigerian import Isaac Maduka who featured for Blacks Power FC last season.
