KCCA FC will be desperate to return to winning ways when they host URA FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo on Friday.
After starting the season with three successive victories, Mike Mutebi’s side lost 2-1 away to SC Villa this past Tuesday.
Ahead of the game, Mutebi is confident that his players will react despite the fact that URA FC will be tough opposition.
“We are playing a tough team that is coming off victory in their last game but i am sure the boys will react and ensure we win the game. Said Mutebi in his pre-match press conference.
“We have to ensure that our attackers play better than they did against SC Villa.”
This will be the last game KCCA play in the league, before they take on Rwandese side AS Kigali in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Mutebi says that they need to win it so as to build confidence ahead of their continental engagement.
“This is a very important game for us because we need to boost our morale ahead of the CAF Confederations Cup game.”
“Our midfielders did not create enough against Villa but i am sure that will change on Friday.”
Ahead of tha game, KCCA is expected to still be be without Moses Aliro and Juma Balinya who were injured on Match-day 3 against Mbarara City FC. Gift Ali and Julius Poloto who are long term absentees also miss out along with Sadat Anaku who is also still recovering.
For URA FC, they come into the game as one of six teams still unbeaten in the league, this season.
The Tax Collectors have won two and drawn as many in their first four games.
In their latest encounter, they overcame BUL FC away from home with last season’s top scorer, Steven Mukwala, netting both goals.
Mukwala will be the man URA will look to in a bid to take care of KCCA on Friday.
