SC Villa ended KCCA FC’s 100% winning start to the Uganda Premier League thanks to a 2-1 victory on Tuesday, December 15.

The Jogoos who were coming off a loss to URA last Saturday, got the job done thanks to a goal in either half.

Nicholas Kabonge put them ahead on 33 minutes before Ronald Ssekiganda added a second with four minutes to play.

KCCA FC scored a consolation on 89 minutes but it was too late for them to stage a come back as Villa held on to win all three points.

At Lugogo, Police FC defeated Busoga United FC 3-0 to climb top of the standings.

The Cops who now have 20 points from four games, went ahead on 9 minutes through striker Derrick Kakooza.

Mubarak Nsubuga then killed off the game with Police’s third of the afternoon.

Busoga who have now lost three of their opening four games, are now 14th with just a single point.

At the FUFA Technical Center, URA FC registered their second victory of the season by beating BUL FC 2-0.

Last season’s top scorer Steven Mukwala scored both goals to take his tally to three for the season.

The former Maroons FC and Vipers SC striker got his first on 77 minutes before adding another deep into added on time.

Victory takes URA into 4th spot with 8 points from four games while BUL drops to 9th with four points after losing two and winning just one of their 4 games.

The game between Onduparaka FC and Wakiso Giants FC, at the Green Light Stadium in Arua, ended 1-1.
