The Premier League entered into game week 12 this past weekend with all 20 teams in action from Friday to Sunday.

On Friday, West Ham United came from a goal down to defeat Leeds United at Elland Road.

On Saturday afternoon, Anwar El Ghazi scored an injury time penalty as Aston Villa beat Wolves 1-0 away from home in a game that saw either side have a player sent off.

At St. James Park, Dwight Gayle’s 82nd minute striker ensured Newcastle United overcame West Bromwich Albion 2-1.

In the weekend’s head line fixture, Man United and Man City drew 0-0 in the Manchester derby played at Old Trafford.

In Saturday’s late kick-off, a Gylfie Sigurdsson first half penalty did the trick for Everton as they scrapped past Chelsea at Goodison Park.

On Sunday, Southampton continued their decent start to the season as they powered past Sheffield United 3-0 in Hampshire.

At Selhurts Park, Tottenham dropped two vital points as they drew 1-1 against Crystal Palace.

Muhammad Salah’s second half penalty salvaged a point for Liverpool as they were held to a 1-1 draw away to Fulham.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang scored an own goal as 10-man Arsenal lost 1-0 at home to lowly Burnley.

The last game on Sunday saw Leicester City thump Brighton and Hove Albion 3-0 at the King Power Stadium.

Here are the XI players who stood out on match-day 12.

GK: Vicente Guaita (Crystal Palace)

He mayh have been at fault for Harry Kane’s goal but Guita almost single handedly won Palace the point on Sunday with several top notch saves.

RB: James Justine (Leicester City)

Justine was once again impressive at right back for Leicester City. His adventures going forward saw him set up Jamie Vardy’s goal in the 3-0 win over Brighton.

CB: Michael Keane (Everton)

In a period when Everton has been struggling, Keane stood tall and firm to ensure his side doesn’t concede against free-scoring Chelsea.

CB: Angelo Ogbonna (West Ham United)

Not always given the credit he deserves, the Italian was strong at the back in the win over Leeds on Friday, also opening the scoring what would prove to be the winning game.

LB: Aaron Cresswell (West Ham United)

The highly rated left back set up Ogbonna for the winning goal on Friday.

MF: Bobby Decordova-Reid (Fulham)

Fulham look like they are starting to find their feet in the Premier League and on Sunday, Reid netted the opener as the London club drew 1-1 with Liverpool.

MF: Stuart Amstrong (Southampton)

Another magnificent display by Southampton and at the heart of it was Amstrong. His goal off a brilliant run was the tip of them all as they beat Sheffield 3-0.

MF: James Madison (Leicester City)

Madison scored twice in the 3-0 win over Brighton on Sunday.

FW: Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace)

Eze keeps on impressing and he continued exactly that as he created five chances in the draw against Spurs.

FW: Che Adams (Southampton)

Scored the opening goal and was a constant trouble for Sheffield United in the 3-0 victory.

FW: Jamie Vardy (Leicester City)

Vardy scored once and assisted the other two goals as Leicester City beat Brighton 3-0.
