The Uganda national men’s football team has on Tuesday, October 13, returned to the country.
The Cranes safely landed at Entebbe International airport aboard the Dubai Airlines after completing a five-day training camp in Dubai.
A contingent of 26 individuals returned to the country with the rest connecting to their clubs from Dubai.
Only two foreign based players were part of the contingent. Allan Kateregga who plays in Iraq and TP Mazembe’s Joseph Ochaya returned.
Ochaya is expected to connect to Kinshasha, Congo on Tuesday evening.
The team has been in camp as they gear up for both the AFCON qualifiers and the 2021 CHAN tournament.
Uganda Cranes will host South Sudan on 12th November 2020 before traveling for the away match in Juba a few days later.
