The Premier League entered into game week three this past weekend with 16 teams in action.

On Saturday, Bruno Fernandez scored a controversial 100th minute penalty to ensure Man United defeated Brighton 3-2 at the American Express Community Stadium.

At Selhurst Park, Richarlison’s penalty proved to be the winner as Everton beat Crystal Palace 2-1 to maintain both top spot and a 100% record.

Chelsea required a Tammy Abraham injury time equalizer to complete a come-back from 3 three goals down as they drew 3-3 away to West Bromwich Albion.

In Saturday’s late kick off, Danny Ings scored the only goal of the game as Southampton overcame Burnley 1-0.

On Sunday, Patrick Bamford’s goal saw off Sheffield United 1-0 at Bramell Lane.
Callum Wilson scored a late penalty as Newcastle drew 1-1 at Tottenham Hotspur.

Jimmy Vardy netted a hattrick in Leicester City’s shocking 5-2 drubbing of Man City at the Etihad Stadium.

West Ham United humiliated Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 at the London Stadium on Sunday night.

On Monday, Liverpool take on Arsenal at Anfield while Fulham host Aston Villa.
Here are the XI players who stood out according to Shaban Lubega.

GK: Karl Darlow (Newcastle United)

It was a weekend on which barely a goalkeeper impressed. Settled for Darlow after he made six saves to ensure Newcastle walk home with a point off Tottenham Hotspur.

CB: Seamus Coleman (Everton)

After a troubled last few seasons, Coleman looks back to his best once again. Assisted the opener in Everton’s victory away to Palace.

CB: Kayl Bartley (West Bromwich Albion)

Scored what for-large spells looked to be the winner only for Chelsea to equalize in injury time.

CB: Cheikhou Kuoyate (Crystal Palace)

Kouyate looks to be comfortable in his new center-back role at Crystal Palace. He netted in the loss to Everton on Saturday.

MF: Tariq Lamptey (Brighton and Hove Albion)

The 19-year old Englishman bosses the right-side of the pitch all-day long against Man United. It is a game that Brighton will never believe that they lost after what was a brilliant team display.

MF: Arthur Masuaku (West Ham United)

With Aaron Creswell back in the team, Masuaku is now playing wing-back and thriving at it. Assisted the fourth goal in West Ham’s victory over Wolves on Sunday.

MF: Solomon March (Brighton and Hove Albion)

Struck the post twice and scored Brighton’s second goal in the loss to Man United on Saturday.

MF: Bruno Fernandez (Man United)

Netted the winning goal from the spot and sent Marcus Rashord on his way for the second in the 3-2 win over Brighton.

FW: Jarod Bowen (West Ham United)

Scored twice in the 4-0 victory over Wolves on Sunday night.

FW: Callum Robinson (West Bromwich Albion)

Netted a brace as West Bromwich Albion held Chelsea to a 3-3 draw on Saturday.

FW: Jimmy Vardy (Leicester City)

Vardy scored a hat trick as Leicester City humiliated Man City 5-2 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
