The Premier League entered it game week two this past weekend with eight teams in action.

On Saturday, Everton overcame 10-man West Brom 5-2 in an interesting encounter while Leeds United were involved in a second consecutive 7-goal thriller, beating Fulham 4-3.

At Old Trafford, Man United suffered their first loss of the season as they lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace.

In the late kick off, Arsenal scrapped past West Ham United 2-1 thanks to a late Eddie Nketiah goal.

On Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur came from a goal down to thrash Southampton 5-2 while Brighton defeated Newcastle United 2-0away from home.

In the headline fixture of the weekend, Liverpool beat 10-man Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge while Leicester took care of Burnley 4-2.

The other two remaining match-day 2 fixtures pitting Aston Villa at home to Sheffield United and Man City’s visit to Wolves, will be played on Monday.

Here are the XI players who stood out according to Shaban Lubega in a 4:2:2:2 formation.

GK: Allison Baker (Liverpool)

Saved Jorginho’s penalty and kept his first clean sheet of the season in the win over Chelsea on Sunday.

RB: Timothy Castagne (Leicester City)

Castagne was signed from an impressive Atalanta side that reached the quarter finals of the Champions League last season and has got his Leicester City career off to a flyer. After scoring last week, he assisted Harvey Barnes’ opener in the win over Burnley.

LB: James Justin (Leicester City)

Scored the third goal for Leicester in the victory over Burnley on Sunday.

CB: Lewis Dunk (Brighton and Hove Albion)

Was a rock at the heart of Brighton’s defence as they beat Newcastle United 2-0 away from home.

CB: Michael Keane (Everton)

Keane scored one of Everton’s five goals in the win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

MF: Dani Cebalos (Arsenal)

Arguably Cebalos’ finest display in an Arsenal shirt. The Spaniard was at the center of all good for Arsenal, setting up Nketiah’s winner in the 2-1 triumph over West Ham United.

MF: Helder Costa (Leeds United)

Scored twice in Leeds’ 4-3 victory over Fulham on Saturday.

FW: Sadio Mane (Liverpool)

Mane scored both goals in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday.

FW: Wilfred Zaha (Crystal Palace)

What a performance by Zaha against his former side. He scores twice as Palace beat Man United 3-1 at Old Trafford.

ST: Son Heung Min (Tottenham Hotspur)

The South Korean scored four goals as Tottenham Hotspur beat Southampton 5-2 on Sunday afternoon.

ST: Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

Scored once and assisted all four of Son’s goals in the win over Southampton.
