KAMPALA – Wakiso Giants FC have completed the signing of Satulo Edward.
Edward who is a defender by trade joins the Purple Sharks from Wobulenzi FC.
He is a two time Masaza Cup winner having previously featured for both Ssingo and Gomba.
Satulo has put pen to paper on a three year deal that will see him at Wakiso until 2023.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, the gigantic defender labelled the move as a ‘big step in his career.
“It’s a big step in my career and it couldn’t come at a better time and club. I have won everything in the Masaza Cup and feel ready for the challenge in the topflight.” Saluto told the club’s website.
He becomes the third signing for Wakiso in the off season having already secures Ibrahim Kasule and Pius Kagwa.
The club have also secured the services of former Express FC, SC Villa and Maroons head coach Douglas Bamweyana.
Wakiso ended the season in 10th with 30 points from 25 games.
