In an effort to freshen up their squad, Mbarara City have parted ways with to players.

According to a statement from the club, Kabuye Stephen is on of the two players that have been let go of.

Stephen whose contract ended last month will not renew it further.

It is understood that it was agreed by both parties and Stephen will be seeking for another club to further his career.

The other player is Bashir Muweesi whose contract has been terminated by mutual consent.

The two players join Ibrahim Orit in departing Mbarara City FC this off season.

Orit left after expiry of his contract, signing for Vipers SC.

Last season, Mbarara City-under the guidance of Brian Ssenyondo, finished 7th with 36 points from 25 games.
