Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC have signed a fourth player this off season.
After securing the services of Charles Lwanga, Ashraf Mugume and Stefano Mazengo, the Kasasiros have now added midfielder Pius Obuya.
Obuua joins them from relegated side Maroons FC, where he has been since 2015.
The 20 year old has for long been an admirer of the project at Lugogo and is understood to be over the moon after sealing the move.
He joins KCCA FC as a free agent after five years at Maroons with whom he secured promotion back to the top tier a couple of years ago.
After the departure of Allan Okello in January, the 13 time Uganda Premier League champions have been eyeing a replacement for him (Okello) and many think Obuya perfectly fits the fold.
Obuya is also a close friend to Okello with the two players featuring together at the U20 national level.
However, he will have to earn his place in the team that features alot of decent young players.
KCCA FC are believed to be in the process of assembling a team that can compete in the CAF Confederations Cup next season, a championship they booked a ticket in after finishing second in the league last season.
With several players understood to be on their way out of Lugogo, the Kasasiros are expected to continue trying to secure other players.
Last season, they ended the campaign with 50 points from 25 games.
