Barely a week after signing a contract extension at Express FC, Wasswa Bbosa has started recruiting players for the 2020/21 season.

Bbosa who signed a three year deal last week is set to sign as many former players.

The players in question are all from relegated Tooro United FC, a side Bbosa coached at the start of the just ended Uganda Premier League.

Forwards Godfrey Lwesibawa plus Charles Musiige and midfielder John Byamukama will all soon be Express FC players.

This is a second home coming for Lwesibawa who was at Wankulukuku before joining rivals SC Villa in 2015.

The winger has also previously featured for Vipers SC and is a key figure in the Uganda Beach Soccer national team.

For Musiige, he was at now-Big League side Nyamityobora before joining Tooro United where he thrived in his only season there.

Byamukama is a young talent that has been featuring for the Car Dealers and Tooro-in the FUFA Drum.
All three players are expected to sign three year deals at Express, ones that will see them at Wankulukuku until June 2022.

It is understood that Express are set to release up to 10 players in the next few days all of whom they will replace before he season starts.

This will be the first move as the clubs tries to build a strong team that will challenge for top four next season.

Last campaign, the Red Eagles finished a disappointing 9th in the UPL standings with 31 points from 25 games.
