Kyetume FC and URA FC played out 1-1 draw on Saturday at the Mighty Arena in Jinja.

The home side who were coming off a 1-0 win away to Proline last weekend, took the lead through Robert Ssentongo who converted from the spot inside 3 minutes.

They looked composed and satisfied with their lead, holding onto it until the break.

At the start of the second half, URA FC introduced Mikidad Ssenyonga in place of the ineffective Michael Birungi in a bid to add fresh legs to the attack.

Ssenyonga instantly forced Kyetume custodian Joel Mutakubwa into a fine save off a header.

However, Mutakubwa could not repeat his heroics when Saidi Kyeyune riffled into the back of the net with 17 minutes to play, pulling URA level.

URA who are the only unbeaten side in the second round pushe for a winner which eluded them in the end as Kyetume stood firm to protect the points in hand.

The result sees URA FC remain 4th on the log with 34 points from 21 games while Kyetume climbs out of the relegation zone and now have 23 points.

In their next fixtures, Kyetume are away to Kigezi Home Boys in the Uganda Cup before they take on Mbarara City FC in the League.

For URA FC, they host Nyamityobora in the Cup and then visit Busoga United FC in the League.
