Maroons hopeful as they visit Onduparaka

Onduparaka vs Maroons

Green Light Stadium

Maroons FC will hope to return to winning ways when they visit Onduparaka FC on Tuesday at the Green Light Stadium in the Uganda Premier League.

The prisons side lost their league second round opener 2-1against Proline FC at home last week.

For Onduparaka, they had a walk-over win in their opening fixture against Tooro United last Tuesday in Fort Portal as the home side failed to present players for the game.

Onduparaka will also be looking forward to complete a double over Maroons having defeated them 1-0 in the first game of the season.

Team news

Amanya Junior and Bwogi Edgar who missed the last encounter against Proline, have been included in Maroons’ traveling squad to Arua.

It remains unknown if the caterpillars will have there full squad especially now that most clubs are facing a licensing issue.

Match Facts

Gadafi Wahab scored the lone goal as Onduparaka beat Maroons in October last year in the reverse fixture.

Caterpillars are 5th on the log with 26 points from 16 games while Maroons sit in the 10th with 19 points.
