Busoga United playmaker Boban Zirintusa has joined Tanzanian side Mtibwa Sugar.
The stylish attacking midfielder is understood to have signed an 18 months contract with Mtibwa and will feature for them until the summer of 2021.
He becomes the second high profile player to depart the Jinja based side this month after Joel Madondo.
Madondo left Busoga for the Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca last week after successfully completing trials.
The two have been integral to Busoga’s recent success, scoring over 50% of the team’s goals in the last one season or so.
Zirintusa returns to Mtibwa, a side for which he played between 2009 and 2013, netting 16 goals.
Zirintusa has been Busoga United’s top scorer this campaign with six goals.
His new team-Mtibwa are currently 10th on the Tanzanian Premier league log with 22 points.
