BUL FC registered their first point of the Uganda Premier League as they drew 1-1 at home to Wakiso Giants FC on Wednesday.

Despite the lack of goals, the game was nothing short of drama as either side missed from thw spot.

Wakiso were handed a chance to take the lead on 19 minutes but Viane Sekajugo who had been fouled inside thw area saw his effort saved by Ali Kimera.

With just two minutes of thw 90 to play, it was BUL’s turn to try their luck from 12 yards but just like Sekajugo, Hamis Tibita could only look on in disgust as his attempt was pushed away to safety by Wakiso custodian Derrick Emukule after Alex Komakech was deemed to have handled in the area.

Both sides had other chances to try and win thw contest but could not capitalize.

Richard Wandyake and James Otim came close for the hosts while Dennis Okot and Joseph Ssemuju squandered good opportunities.

For Wakiso, Ssenyonjo had a shot blocked while Sekajugo rattled the woodwork.

The draw sees BUL stay 5th on the standings with 30 points from 19 games.
