URA FC vs Proline FC
Bombo Barracks Stadium, Bombo
Tuesday, 26-11-2019 @4:30pm
URA FC will be hoping to return to winning ways when they host Proline at the Bombo Barracks stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
The Tax Collectors have continued to struggle and somehow failed to pick momentum this season despite signing close to 20 players in the summer.
Head coach Sam Simbwa is under pressure from his superiors to perform but things do not look like taking a different course any time soon.
After winning only two of their opening 7 games, URA have now won just one of their past 7.
The main issue has been scoring goals for Simbwa’s side as they come into the contest having managed a disappointing 11 in 14 games.
Their last four games have seen them score just twice and will know that they need to improve upfront if they are to climb up the log.
Currently, they sit 10th on the 16 team log with 17 points.
For Proline, they endured a disastrous start to the season that saw them fail to put points on the log in their first 7 games.
They were pointless because they saw six points docked off them for failing to honour a home fixture against SC Villa on match-day three.
However, they now look to have turned the corner and eyeing a surge up the table.
They have gone on a five-game unbeaten run that has seen them move to within five points of safety.
However, they take on a side that they rarely beat, having triumphed just twice against the Tax Collectors since 2011.
Match Facts
This will be the 13th meeting between the two sides since they first met in 2011.
In the previous 12 fixtures, URA have won 7, Proline two whilst the other three have ended in draws.
Last season’s reverse fixture ended 1-1 before URA won the second game 2-1.
URA FC come into the game having drawn 7 of their past 10 games (W2 L1).
At home, Simbwa’s side have won only once in their opening seven games (D5 L1).
For Proline, they have not lost any of their last five league games (W2 D3).
Away from home, the Lugogo based side are yet to register a victory this campaign, losing four and drawing the other three of their first seven games.
