Uganda’s Shafik Kiwanuka and Zimbabwe’s Thamsang Dube will face off this Friday 29th November at the International University of East Africa in the Africa Heavy Weight Championships.
The event will be graced by the World Boxing Federation President Howard Goldberg Ivor, who arrives in the County on Wednesday.
The two boxers will be aiming to grab the World Boxing African heavyweight title.
During a press conference held at IUEA on Wednesday, both fighters promised an explosive fight with Kiwanuka claiming that he cannot wait to fight.
“I am the Killing machine and am very ready to rumble, said Kiwanuka.
“I have prepared well and I can’t wait for the fight night.
“I take this opportunity to thank my University, Sponsors, trainers, managers and everyone who has put a hand in this fight.”

Dube is a Zimbabwean national heavyweight champion and a former Pan African World Boxing heavyweight champion. He has 12wins, 7KOs, and 3 losses
