-Park FC vs Intercity SC @9pm

After several months of break, the Futsal Super League will finally mark its return on Monday, October 28th 2019.

Unlike in the past where 14 teams have been taking part, this season will see a decrease to six.

It will be played in a format such that each team faces the other three times, each playing a total of 15 games.

This has come about due to the luck of commitment band long-term sustainability by the different sides.

“We undertook club licensing for long term stable and self-sustainability of the clubs and in the process, some of the clubs could not be registered, noted Futsal Association Chairperson Junju Hamza.

“The core areas of licensing include; Governance, Technical team and Player Contracts and PR person in place, Subscription and Brand building & Marketing.

“After the process, only six teams could be allowed to take part.”

The six teams that will be taking part in this year’s competition include Park FC, Intercity, Kabowa, Aidenal, Kisenyi and Mengo City FC.

This will be the third season of the FSL. The first saw Dream win the title while Yeak Kabowa shrugged off Park to win the latest.

Among the new changes, this season will be played at the MTN A

rena in Lugogo unlike in the past where matches have been played in Mengo.

On match-day one, Mengo City FC will take on Kabowa FC, Aidenal and Kisenyi will also do battle while Park locks horns with Intercity SC.
