KAMPALA – StarTimes Uganda Premier League newbies, Wakiso Giants have completed the signing of Aggrey Madoi.

Madoi who has been a free agent after his deal with Vipers SC was terminated by mutual consent, becomes the second player that Wakiso have officially signed in the current offseason.

Madoi’s signing was confirmed by the club on Tuesday, July 9th.

“Aggrey Madoi is a Purple Shark. He joins us on a three-year deal.” Read Wakiso’s tweet on their official twitter handle.

Madoi had a troubled stay at Vipers SC last season, one that saw him dropped from the first team before the campaign ended.

Last season was the first that the left-back was taking part in for the Venoms, after returning from a year-long loan spell at Police FC.

For the Purple Sharks, he is their second signing after Derrick Emukule who was signed from Ndejje University FC last month.

Wakiso are understood to be beefing up their squad ahead of their first ever season in the top flight.

The Purple Sharks were promoted to the top tier after winning the Big League-Elgon group, last season.
