Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Robert Odongokara has sealed a move to AC Horoya.
According to Swift Sports, the 29-year-old custodian has signed a two-year deal with the Guinean side that will see him at Horoya until 2021.
He joins from Ethiopian side Adama City where he has been since last year (2018).
Odongkara was part of the Cranes team that represented Uganda at the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt where they were eliminated by Senegal in the round of 16.
At AFCON 2019, he featured as a substitute in one game, the 0-2 loss to hosts-Egypt, replacing Denis Onyango in the second half.
The 6ft2′ custodian started his career at SC Villa, featuring for the Jogoos between 2008-2010. He then moved to URA FC for the 2010/11 season.
From there, Odongkara embarked on life outside Uganda, joining Ethiopian side Saint George where he stayed for 8 years from 2011 to 2018.
At Saint Goerge, he enjoyed major success in his career, winning five league titles, one Ethiopian Cup and two Super Cups.
After a successful spell at Saint Goerge, Odongkara then moved to Adama City for whom he featured in the 2018/19 season, helping them finish 11th in the league.

Horoya Athletic Club is a Guinean football club based in Conakry, Guinea. The club was founded in 1975 and plays in the Ligue 1 Pro, the top tier in the Guinean football league system.
Horoya AC won the African Cup winners’ cup in 1978 only three-year after club foundation.
One of its most significant players in the late 1970s and 1980s was Kerfalla Bangoura, who came third in 1979 in the CAF African Player of the Year voting.
In 2012, the club won its first Guinean Super Cup, after a 2–0 win over FC Sequence. The club reached from 2011 to 2013 the title hat-trick of the Guinee Championnat National.
In 2014, they eliminated the 2013 FIFA Club World Cup runner-up Raja Casablanca in the second qualifying round of 2014 CAF Champions League.
In 2018, after finished in the second place in the group stages of the CAF Champions League, the club reached the quarter-finals in the first time of its history, where it loose against Al Ahly SC 4–0 on aggregate.
