NAMBOOLE – The StarTimes Uganda Premier League Secretariat has on Wednesday, 02-01-2019 confirmed two fixture adjustments.

This comes after Uganda’s two CAF Confederations Cup representatives Vipers SC and KCCA confirmed dates for their respective play-off round clashes against CS Sfaxien and AS Otoha.

Vipers who dropped into the Africa’s second club competition after they were eliminated from the Champions League by CS Constatine will host Sfaxien on Saturday, 12-01-2019 and as a result, their domestic League game at home to Onduparaka has been brought forward to Wednesday, 09-01-2019.

In the similar case, KCCA FC who are away to AS Otoha of Congo on 12th have also seen their StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) game away to URA brought forward to Tuesday, 08-01-2019.

An aggregate win for both Vipers and KCCA FC in Play-Off round will see them reach the Group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.

KCCA is currently leading the standings of the SUPL with 30 points accumulated after 13 games while Vipers are third on 25 points, having played two games less than the Kasasiros.

The League will resume on Thursday afternoon with Maroons FC hosting Express while Paidah Black Angels make the long trip to Mbarara to face off with Nyamityobora FC.
