NAMBOOLE – SC Villa host Uganda cup champions KCCA at Namboole in the Startimes Uganda Premier League on Tuesday.

KCCA held Vipers at Kitende to a draw (1-1) while SC Villa fell to Mbarara City at Kavumba (2-1) in their last encounter.

SC Villa will be under assistant coaches Eddy Kawesa and Nestrooy Kizito after the fans attacked head coach Moses Basena and forced him to quite. So until the club settles the mess, the assistant coaches will take on the team.

What the coaches say;

Mike Mutebi (KCCA)

“We are facing a team that also wants to put something onto the table, so we must deliver.

We expect a good challenge and all we want are the three points.

Our problem we are not effective so we are going to work on that.

We must take responsibility and we score.

Savio Kabugo (SC Villa player).

“We are going to play a stubborn team, but we are no scared, we shall win the game.

“It’s going to be a tough game but I believe we have trained enough and we deserve the 3points at home.

Currently SC Villa has no injured players in their starting squad.

For KCCA, Mutebi might make some changes in the squad that faced Vipers on Saturday especially in the forward line.

Match facts.

In their last 16 league meetings, KCCA have won on six occasions, drawing eight and losing twice.

KCCA is currently 3rd with 12 points while SC Villa sits in relegation with only 3 points.
