Just a day after he was confirmed as Proline FC head coach, Shafick Bisaso has promised to elevate the Big league side back into the Uganda Premier League.
Bisaso was confirmed as the head coach on Tuesday afternoon at the club’s home ground in Lugogo.
“I am happy that am returning where it all started and am keen to help out, said Bisaso.
“My target is what everyone at Proline wants and that is to get them back into the top tier.
About why he chose a lower division side over a chance to stay in the Top tier as Bul FC was keen on him, Bisaso had this to say.
“The most important thing is moving to the right team which is straight forward and they are willing to do everything the football way.
“I had a chance to stay in the top tier but i think Proline are in position to help me re-launch my career.
“We have a challenge to adopt with one another but it’s a good task as it only makes everyone better.
Proline FC was relegated last season after spending two years in the top tier and they will be hoping Bisaso who is coming back for the second time to manage at the club can do the magic.
This is the second home coming for Bisaso having handled the club previously during the 2010/14 seasons.
He helped save Express FC from relegation last season but was sack controversially by the Red Eagles’ board a few months ago.
At Proline, Bisaso will be assisted by Ronald Kaweesa who has been promoted from the Academy and Swaib Ssebagala as goalkeeping coach.
They replace Mujib Kasule and Baker Mbowa who decided to call it quits at the club.
Bisaso and his working team were officially introduced before the playing staff at the Star Times stadium, Lugogo on Monday, 27th August 2018 as they embark on the official club duties on the subsequent day.
