


The organizers of the NSSF KAVC international got another timely boost from an Agro Processing company based in Paliisa on Tuesday.
Chairman LOC, Peter Buyondo received the 3Million shillings from Mr Sadik Nasiwu, Director of the Rice Processing plant at the UOC offices in Lugogo.
“The Support will go towards offsetting organizational cost in the 3 day event, said Buyungo.
Pallisa Agro will also offer Pure and First class organic rice at a discounted price in Lugogo.
The three-day championship will serve off on 3rd to 5th August 2018 at Lugogo Indoor Stadium and Lugogo Hockey ground in capital Kampala.
The winners will pocket $1000 in the gold category, the runners up (silver) will get $500 whilst bronze category teams will get $300.
On top of the prize money, there are a variety of trophies that will accompany the top performers.

18 local teams have been confirmed to take part; namely Nkumba University (W), KCCA (M&W), Sport-S (M&W), Ndejje University (W) VVC (W) and Espoir (W). Others include COBAP (W), SKY (M), AIRFORCE (M), Prisons (M), Western Volleyball Team (M), KAVC A (M&W), KAVC B (M&W), KAVC U-23 (M) among others
