BUL FC have completed the signing of Musa Malunda from reigning Azam Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC.

He is believed to have put pen to paper on a 1 year contract and becomes the Jinja based side’s first signing.

The center back has struggled get playing time at Vipers SC due to stiff competition from Geoffrey Wasswa, Bashir Asiku and Halid Lwaliwa. And now that Ibrahim Kiyemba has joined the Venoms this off season, it is more realistic as to why Malunda has opted out.

Malunda joined Vipers SC from CRO and won the 2014/15 AUPL title with the Kitende based side. In the same season he was named the best defender in the league.

He joins a BUL side that had their head coach Kefa Kisala resign and 7 of their players for last season have been show the exit door.

Players like Yusuf Mukisa, Patrick Crespo Asiku, Charles Tibingana, Mike Ndera, Godfrey Atieke and Shaka Ssozi who were released last month.

Aziz Kemba had his loan spell from Vipers SC expire while Fred Agandu joined Onduparaka FC on a 2 year deal.

BUL FC finished 6th on the 16 team Uganda premier league log with 39 points garnered from 30 league outings.
