
KAMPALA – As Uganda is on a countdown ahead of 2021 General Election, it is important to know that there is more than one polling date.
Apparently, Ugandans are more aware of January 14, as it is election date for the positions of President and House Representatives.
Here, we bring you full polling dates for general election 2021
January 11, 2021: Election of councillors for youths, Councillors for PWDS and Councillors for older persons to sub-county/town/municipal divisions.
January 12, 2021: Election of councillors for youths, Councillors for PWD and Councillors for older persons to municipality/city division.
January 14, 2021: Election of President, Members of Parliament.
January 20, 2021: Election of district local government councils (District/City Chairpersons, Lord Mayors, Mayors and Councillors).
January 25, 2021: Election of Municipality Chairpersons and Councillors
January 27, 2021: Election of Councillors for youths, Councillors for PWD, and Councillors for older persons to the district local government councils
February 3, 2021: Election of sub-county/town/municipal division chairpersons and councillors
