KAMPALA – John Katumba (24), the youngest Presidential candidate has been duly nominated by the Electoral Commission to contest for President of Uganda. He chose the table as his symbol.

He told reporters that his Presidency will fight youth unemployment as well as invest in health, road infrastructure, and education.

“I want to fight land grabbing. I don’t want you to think that this is fiction. I want us to be realistic. Whatever is happening in terms of land grabbing is not from heaven. It’s done by Ugandans. I’m going to protect Ugandans and their property. I will launch a program where every Ugandan will have a house.

I’m going to fight corruption. When God is on our side, nothing is impossible. I want to concentrate on women empowerment. I want our mothers to be rich.

Our currency is devalued. But I know the problem and I’m the solution. We export less but import more. Ugandans where are we? We have to wake up. I have a dream of making Uganda the workshop of the world.”
