UPDATE: UNEB to brief Education Minister Museveni about UACE 2018 as students, parents wait for results with bated breaths

NTINDA – The Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) it will brief the Ministry of Education about  Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education UACE performance (Tomorrow) Tuesday, February 26 before releasing them on Thursday afternoon 28.

This website has learnt that UNEB Executive Secretary Dan Odongo together with UNEB chairperson Prof Mary Okwakol will brief the minister and First Lady Janet Museveni on students’ performance.

Ms. Museveni will then release the UACE results on Thursday afternoon, February 28.

This will be the third time for Ms. Museveni to release UACE results ever since she was appointed the political head of the ministry in 2016.

The confirmation comes at a time when students and parents have been waiting for results with bated breaths.

UNEB executive secretary Dan Odongo recently said that those who will not be able to go to schools and pick results will access the results by SMS or via the internet.

A total of 99,672 candidates registered to sit the exams in 2018, compared to 102,007 in 2017.
