KAMPALA— American Philanthropist and Televangelist Dr. Michelle Corral will be in Kampala for the much sought-after the East Africa Fire Conference, organisers have said.
The two-day East Africa Fire Conference scheduled for 8th and 9th August at Sharing Hall (Youth Centre) Nsambya Kampala is also expected to be graced by President Yoweri Museveni.
More than 700 Pastors are invited to attend including some Pastors from all other East African countries, said Earnest Benjamin Kivumbi, the president of the Heal the Planet organization.
Dr. Corral is the President and Founder of Breath of the Spirit Ministries International and she has been travelling around the globe for so many years doing conferences to uplift the ministers of God.
Kivumbi said Dr. Carroll has been ministering to everyone for more than 45 years.
“Now and you don’t want to miss the anointing that you will be under at this conference.”
She is excited to propel you and your ministry in fresh fire and anointing the Holy Spirit for God’s glory,” added Kivumbi.
Prof. Simeon Kayiwa, the lead Pastor Namirembe Christian Church the coming of the American pastor is a previlage for Uganda.
“She is a philanthropist and that is important to us. It means she is a voluntary promoter of human welfare and uses her own resources and time. She stretches every nerve and muscle to see that we survive. It is a good thing we need this time in Uganda,” Prof. Kayiwa said.
“She is God sent to Uganda as God sees Uganda as needful of her support.”
Kayiwa said Dr. Corral comes in at a time when Ugandans are careful about people coming from the west due to the weakening of the church brought about by their stance on homosexuality.
“There is a tendency by people to associate people with others but there are very many Christians I know in the West and America like Dr. Corral who are not supporters of this( homosexuality) and are just believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I therefore welcome everybody to the conference.”
He described the conference as a big occasion since it will be graced by President Museveni.
