The state Minister for Microfinance and small enterprises Hon Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo on Sunday donated to the people of Bbuliro convent in Kyesiiga county Masaka district. This was during an event that was meant to kick off the rehabilitation of the Bbuliro convent.
As part of his contribution, the Minister donated construction materials worth Shs30M these included 200 bags of cement, construction stones, sand, and bricks among others. Hon Kasolo said that his donation was particularly to help construct houses for the priests at Bbuliro convent.
Even when he is a Muslim, Hon Kasolo’s heart beats for all people regardless of religion and race and it is not the first time he is rendering support to the Christians. Over the years during his Kasolo Foundation, the people of Kyotera and Masaka have been benefitting in different ways, and at some point, they donated pigs to a group of youths in Kyotera to help boost their farming projects.
Of late, Hon Kasolo has been involved in many development projects in Masaka concentrating more on Bukoto Central. Even though he is not a member of Parliament representing Bukoto Central, the people love him and have since told him how they support him because they feel he is the best candidate for a member of Parliament Bukoto Central.
