Ruparelia Foundation gives out 5000 Christmas hampers to orphanage centres

Ruparelia Group has donated 5,000 Christmas Hampers to various orphanages and child care centres (PHOTO/Courtesy).

KAMPALA — The Ruparelia Group through its charity arm — Ruparelia Foundation has donated up to 5,000 festive hampers to help feed orphanage communities over Christmas.

Some of the beneficiaries include, Eseza Foundation, Islamic Foundation, Angel Center among others.

Handing over the goodies , Mr. Jerely Fernandez on behalf of Ruparelia Foundation thanked all sponsors who have endeavoured to donate towards the Christmas Gift drive that happened on Tuesday, December 15.

The children at Rwenzori Mumtazi orphanage center and school says thank you to our donors,” the foundation said in a Facebook post after giving out the goodies to the underprivileged.

For the past seven years the Foundation has worked together with several stakeholders to champion positive change in different communities across the country to improve livelihoods.

To date, more than 600 charitable causes have been funded by the charity.
