KAMPALA — A private bodyguard of National Unity Platform Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine has been knocked dead in Busega.

Frank Ssenteza Kalibala alias Francis has allegedly been knocked dead by a military car registration No. H4DF 2424 as Bobi Wine and his team drove to Kampala to seek further treatment for Ghetto Media journalist Ashraf Kasirye who was critically injured earlier on.

In a social media statement, Bobi Wine said:

“I regret to announce the death of our security team member Mr Francis Kalibala also known as Frank”.

He claimed Frank was run over by a military police patrol truck Number H4DF 2382 which had blocked his team in Busega, Kampala as they were taking Ashraf for emergency medical attention in Rubaga hospital.

“Francis past away a few minutes ago in Rubaga hospital. May your life never perish in vain brother. Rest in peace.
A very sad day!”.

Bobi Wine earlier abandoned his campaign in Lwengo to take injured members of his entourage that have been shot to hospital.

NUP presidential candidate was supposed to hold a rally Lwengo, Bukomansimbi and Mpigi but police dispersed the huge crowds following him, and chaos ensued.
