KAMPALA – The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has promised to upgrade the Nsangi-Buloba road, which is currently in sorry state.

This comes after Wakiso District officials complained to Unra that they lack funds to fix the road.

“We recently wrote to Unra and they assured us that the Nsangi-Buloba road will be considered in the second phase after completing Kira-Kasangati-Matuga and Matuga-Wakiso-Buloba roads,” Mr Godfrey Kuruhiira, the Wakiso District chief administrative officer, said during an interview on Monday.

Wakiso District Eng. Sam Mwesigwa said when Nsangi-Buloba road is upgraded, it will help reduce traffic jam on both Kampala-Masaka highway and Kampala- Mityana road.
