KAMPALA – The Ministry of Health has confirmed 63 new COVID-19 cases from tests done on Sunday, October 11,2020.
This rises the total confirmed cases of Ugandans to 9,864.
According to the ministry,all the new cases are alerts and contacts to previously confimed cases.
“Kampala (24), Gulu (11), Wakiso (9), Soroti (6), Masindi (3), Mbale (2), Amuru (1), Busia (1), Masaka (1), Mityana (1), Moroto (1), Ntungamo (1), Sembabule (1) and Tororo (1),” reads a statement from MOH.
Uganda has also registered 1 new COVID-19 death from Kampala bringing the death toll to 94.
To date, 6,109 have recovered from COVID-19.
According to the ministry,508,899 total COVID-19 tests have been carried out.
