KAMPALA — Crown Beverages Limited (CBL), producers of Nivana water became the first company to offer a sponsorship package to Uganda National Women U17 as the team prepares for the FIFA U17 World Cup with Cameroon.

The beverage company took a quick step to respond to Fufa’s appeal to supply the players with drinking water as team intensifies training to participate in the world competition in India.

The part of the consignment released Tuesday was handed over to FUFA CEO Edgar Watson at FUFA House Mengo, in Kampala.

The company also promised to supply up to 400 cartons of drinking to the team.

Nivana Brand Manager Ernest Ssentongo who delivered the package assured the FUFA of continued support going forward.

“We wish the U17 Women the best of luck in their upcoming games and this donation is a token of our appreciation for the partnership with FUFA and our joint desire to see Uganda football prosper,” Ssentongo said.
