Police Chief Kasingye recovers from coronavirus

KAMPALA – The Chief Political Commissar AIGP Asan Kasingye has September 8 revealed he has recovered from coronavirus.

Kasingye who tested positive for the virus two weeks ago made the revelation on his personal twitter handle.

He has since then been updating the public on his progress and recovery process through his tweets.

“GOOD NEW. I AM #COVID19 NEGATIVE,” he tweeted.

The Ministry of Health has confirmed 124 coronavirus infections from tests done on September 7, 2020.

According to the MOH, this rises the total confirmed cases of Ugandans to 3,900.

The total coronavirus recoveries stand at 1,817.
