Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, President Yoweri Museveni (PHOTO/File).

KAMPALA – President Museveni in his capacity as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces has made several reshuffles in the senior army leadership.

In the new appointments, former CMI boss Maj Gen Don Nabasa, fresh from a refresher course, has now been appointed Contingent Commander of the African Union Mission in Somalia (Amisom).

Maj Gen Hudson Mukasa is the Chief of Staff Reserve Forces, Brig Gen Joseph Balikudembe is the 3rd Division Commander while
Brig Gen Felix Kulayigye is to head the Operation Wealth Creation.

Brig Gen Richard Karemire who had been the army spokesperson is now Defence Liaison Officer (DLO) EAC Secretariat Headquarters.

In his place is army representative in Parliament Brig Gen Flavia Byekwaso.
