Police calls owners of impounded vehicles to pick them

KAMPALA – The Alert Squad, in conjunction with Jinja Road Police Station conducted a snap check near police headquarters main gate on April 17, 2020.

According to a police statement, a total of 21 motor vehicles were impounded in the process.

“Four of them were found with forged Covid-19 stickers,” reads a statement in part.

Police noted that the cars have been exhibited on criminal charges pending conclusion of investigations.

“The owners of vehicles (identified below), parked at Police Headquarters yard have been advised to produce logbooks and copies of their National Identity cards and pick their vehicles,” reads an excerpt.

The impounded vehicles include;

UAM 193Q (Double Cabin)

UBB 915W (Toyota Noah)

UBB 721K (Nissan Forester)

UAK 761A (Toyota double cabin)

UAE 334Y (Nissan hardbody)

UAG 272T (Ford Ranger)

UAW 116P (Double Cabin)

UAV 444M (Corona Premio)

UAM 771N (Pick up)
