KABALE- Police in Kabale have April 22,2020 arrested three suspects for being in possession of suspected stolen properties.

According to PRO Kigezi Region IP Elly Maate, the suspects have been identified as Kamukama Onesmus 18 years a resident of Rushaki cell, Twinamasiko Bright from Nyakijumba cell and Twongyirwe Ronald 20 yrs of Mwibale cell, all the cells are located in Southern Division, Kabale Municipality.

“They were arrested during an operation to fight crime within Kabale Town,” he said in a statement.

Mr Maate added that the Items recovered from the suspects include; one computer set, a motor vehicle battery, brand new shirts and trousers, children clothes, jackets, shoes, matress, source pan, breaking implements and chicken, among others.

In a related incident,Mr Maate revealed that during another operation on April 21, one Twinamasiko Davis 26 years , a resident of Rushaki cell, Kirijime ward, Southern Division, Kabale Municipality was also arrested.

“The exhibits recovered from his place include; two speakers, a gas cylinder, a mixer, two CPU and computer,” reads an excerpt.

He noted that people should desist from acts of lawlessness but do things within the confines of the law or else they risk being arrested and prosecuted.
