KIU to host 2020 African Women in Tech conference this week

KAMPALA – Kampala International University (KIU) is set to host the “INSPIRED 2020’ African Women in Technology (AWIT) International Conference

The two-day conference will take place at the University’s Main Campus in Kansanga, Ggaba Road, Kampala from Friday 7 to Saturday 8, February.

AWIT conference is a product of IBOM LLC dedicated to providing opportunities and a safe space for women to grow and lead in the tech space.

This conference was born out of a desire to connect, educate and empower women who are determined to advance their tech careers.

The AWIT conference is an opportunity to meet outstanding and extraordinary women doing remarkable things in technology. It is also an opportunity to network with these super achievers, learn the latest in Tech, Startups, and Funding.

The speakers lined up for this amazing conference include – Alice Namuli, Founder, Legal Innovation Hub; Joryn Arigye, Junior Data Analyst, Felix International; Valentine Masicha Wafula, Founder & CEO, Mindset Coders.
