KAMPALA – Singer Edrisah Musuuza commonly known and Eddy Kenzo has urged Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga to hold talks with the Executive to ensure that artists who hold Uganda’s flag high at international scenes are rewarded for improving Uganda’s image abroad.

Kenzo made the plea on Monday, February 3 while meeting with Speaker Kadaga at Parliament to brief Parliament about his achievements in the entertainment industry defending his use of luganda noting that his consistency in use of Luganda is one of the ways of promoting Uganda worldwide.

Kenzo also commented about the copyright law which he described as good but argued that there are some provisions that are detrimental towards upcoming musicians.

Speaker Kadaga applauded Kenzo for empowering ghetto kids in Uganda and taking them onto national and international markets musically as a way of improving their welfare.

Kenzo recently donated his international awards to the Uganda Musuem to empower the young generation towards achieving big dreams.
