KAMPALA – As President Museveni leads the the country in an anti-corruption walk on Wednesday December 4, the police have announced massive traffic diversions in the city.

Under the theme “A corruption-free Uganda; It Starts with Me”, the walk will see the President march from Constitutional Square in the city centre to Kololo Independence Grounds, a distance of about four kilometres.

On Tuesday evening, Police have deployed one Musa Walugembe and Albert Muhumuza to lead surveillance around People’s Government Head Quarters on Plot 6 Katonga Road Nakasero.

According to Ronald Muhinda, Dr Kiiza Besigye’s personal aide, Walugembe and Muhumuza were notorious occupants of the Police Vans that often followed Kizza Besigye.

“They hurt many Besigye supporters, some of whom were often knocked,” said Muhinda.

“Walugembe has been disgruntled on Katebe often time hanging around Nakivubo and Katwe while Muhumuza remains deployed at Katonga and everywhere else Kizza-Besigye is on daily basis,” he added.

The FDC’s Anti-Corruption march will be from Katonga to City Square.
