KAMPALA – The family of presidential advisor on Media, Joseph Tamale Mirundi, has resolved to transfer him to Nairobi for further treatment after failing to see improvement in his medical condition, PML Daily has learnt.

Mr Mirundi is currently admitted to Kisubi Hospital for a condition that his family and doctors have refused to disclose.

And now it has emerged that his family members, among them his son John Tamale, who works at Parliament, have held a meeting and resolved to transfer their father to Nairobi for further treatment.

Sources close to the family intimated to this website last evening that Mirundi is highly dehydrated and doctors are working hard to hydrate him.

Sources added that Mirundi has refused treatment in top hospitals such as IHK and Nakasero, fearing that his enemies may infiltrate the establishments there and harm him.

The family is currently mobilising funds together with the Office of the President.

Mirundi is currently being nursed by his First wife Juliet Nassimbwa, his Mother Molly Namatovu and his brother only identified as Ssali.

Mirundi was removed as President’s press secretary after falling out with his colleagues in State House. On his show on NBS TV, he has lashed at several government officials, accusing them of being part of the mafia in government and ironically supported Bobi Wine’s presidency bid.
