KAMPALA – The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Party Youth League leadership has on Saturday conducted a capacity building training of the newly elected FDC Medicare Health Professional College students chapter leaders at Lions Hotel, Mengo.
The training was preceded with the inauguration of the new chapter administration led by Chairman Ssemakula Jibril and H.E Kagimu Paul the reigning Guild President of Medicare.
According to the Party, this training program is part of the Youth League students engagements aimed at strengthening the Party institutional chapters and building a platform for mentoring the young political leaders of the Party.
The training was facilitated by; Ms. Joyce Adikin Otongopendi the Clerk to People’s National Assembly who presented on the Role of University Students in the National Political discourse, Mr. Fred W Mutibwa the FDC Deputy Chief Administrative Officer who presented on Building strong Students Movements for Change and Transformation, and Mr. Nasur Din Basalirwa, the FDC National Youth League Treasurer who presented on the Current Political environment and how Students can shape the future.
The training was officiated by the National Youth League Chairman Mr. Mulindwa Walid Lubega who in his address encouraged Students to join the struggle against the dictatorship as a way of shaping the future. He encouraged them to go back in their mother districts and take leadership of both the Party and National affairs.
