Grief as Bushenyi Health Inspector perishes in road accident

KAMPALA – Grief engulfed Bushenyi Municipal Council Hall on Thursday as district leaders mourned the health inspector, Jacob Steven Wamale, who died in a car accident on Wednesday night.

The car in which Wamale was travelling in overturned at St Kaggwa on the Ishaka-Mbarara road.

In a special session held for the deceased, the councillors described him as a man greatly committed to his job.

The deputy town clerk Ishaka- Bushenyi Municipality Didas Muhanguzi also described Steven a person who has been so hard working because he has been serving in many positions.

Wamale served in Bushenyi District local government for over 20years.

He served as a health assistant from 2005 up to 2015 when he was promoted as a Health Inspector till yesterday when he died.

He will be laid to rest in Bududa District on Saturday 26th Oct.2019.

According to the postmortem that was done at Kampala International University Hospital by Dr. Hawa Nalwoga, Steven died as the result of multiple injuries and over breeding after the accident.
