NWSC hosts School Water and Sanitation convention 2019

KAMPALA – National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is hosting the annual School Water and Sanitation (SWAS) convention 2019.

With the aim of inculcating values safe hygiene, sanitation promotion, environmental protection in the future generation, NWSC has extended the CSR to all corners of Uganda.

The initiative is aimed at building a responsible generation that will guard our natural resources jealously.

Following a successful rollout in Kampala, NWSC has extended the convention to other regions namely;

  • Northern Region
  • Central region
  • Northern region
  • Eastern Region

The convention activities are all water and sanitation themed and include the following; skits, poems, water and sanitation technology/innovations, drama, quiz and Essays.

“Come cheer your former school and also witness the official crowning of the kings and queens of water and sanitation in Uganda at regional level and the grand finale on 12th July 2019,” urged the NSWC in a statement, adding that “NWSC is committed to water and sanitation for all.”
