Be exemplary in performing your duties, Kasaija urges Finance Ministry staff

RUBIRIZI – Finance Minister Matia Kasaija has on Monday 15 urged employees in his Ministry to be exemplary in the performance of their duties.

He said that they are the salt of the Ministry without which the entire government cannot function properly.

The Minister made these remarks during a retreat for the Ministry staff that was held at Kyangabi crater resort in Rubirizi district.

Hon. Kasaija cautioned his staff to ensure that they don’t lose their zeal.

“We should do things in a timely manner and remain truthful so that people can trust us,” said Kasaija.

The Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, Patrick Ocailap also called upon the staff to adhere to the Ministry’s strategic plan and in so doing promote transparency and accountability while conducting their activities.
